Marian Hosts Its 7th Annual 5K Fundraiser

Marian held its 7th annual “Run as One” 5K event on Saturday, September 26, 2026. As has become tradition for this event, Marian headquarters invited each US Marian location to choose a different to support through fundraising and supply donations.

This annual event began during the COVID-19 pandemic as a virtual way to connect employees while enjoying some time outdoors and focusing on wellness. Employees loved the opportunity to see their counterparts from across the country, show off their neighborhood or nearby hiking trails, and encourage each other to achieve a goal. After a couple years of virtual participating, it only made sense for the 5K to evolve into an in-person event that has become an employee favorite tradition.

Marian Indianapolis, Marian Chicago, Marian Milwaukee, Marian Fort Worth, Marian Mexico, Marian Monticello, and Marian Bay Area all selected a local charity to fundraise for. Marian Corporate then matched all donations up to $10,000 for each location!

This year’s event featured a record 617 participants that, for the fourth year in a row, raised a record amount!

John Boner Neighborhood Centers for Marian Indianapolis and Marian Bay Area
Courage Rock Stable for Marian Monticello
Refuge for Women for Marian Chicago
MacCanon Brown Homeless Sanctuary for Marian Milwaukee
The Warm Place for Marian Fort Worth
Casa Bienvivir and Child Crisis Center for Marian El Paso
