Marian Hosts 5th Annual “Run as One” 5K Fundraiser

On October 5, 2024, Marian held its 5th Annual “Run as One” 5K to raise money for local organizations across the country. What was initially designed as a virtual 5K and a fun effort to promote outdoor exercise and “togetherness” during the pandemic has now evolved into a large nationwide, in-person event five years later.

All of our U.S. locations (Marian Indianapolis, Marian Chicago, Marian Milwaukee, Marian Fort Worth, Marian Mexico, Marian Monticello, and Marian Bay Area) participated and fundraised for their local organization of choice. In addition to the donated funds, Marian Corporate matched all donations up to $10,000 for each location’s charity.

This year featured a record 419 participants, raising a Marian 5K record of donations to organizations nationwide.

These organizations include:

Make-a-Wish Foundation (OH, KY, IN) for Marian Indianapolis and Marian Bay Area
Indiana Volunteer Firefighter’s Association for Marian Monticello
Refuge for Women for Marian Chicago
The Food Pantry Serving Waukesha County for Marian Milwaukee
Tarrant Area Food Bank for Marian Fort Worth
Casa Bienvivir and Child Crisis Center for Marian El Paso

Philanthropy is a major pillar of what makes Marian great, and we love to give back to our communities whenever we can.
