Marian Hosts 4th Annual “Run As One” 5k Run/Walk for Charity

What began as a chance to get outdoors and virtually gather during the COVID-19 pandemic has now become an annual tradition here at Marian. On October 7, 2023, Marian held its 4th Virtual Run as One 5K. This 5K served as a way for employees to give back to local organizations all over the country. Participating in this event was not only Marian Indianapolis, but Marian Chicago, Marian Milwaukee, Marian Fort Worth, Marian Mexico, Marian Monticello, Marian Bay Area, and many other employees and their families virtually across the country. Each Marian location was asked to choose an organization for their runners to raise money for, and Marian Corporate generously offered to match all donations up to $10,000 for each location’s charity.

When race day 2023 arrived, Marian absolutely showed up. This year, we hosted a record 350 in-person and virtual participants spanning across almost 10 states, raising money for organizations nationwide. These organizations include:

Second Helpings in Indianapolis
Northern Illinois Foodbank in Chicago
Hunger Task Force in Milwaukee
Tarrant Area Food Bank in Fort Worth
Casa Bienvivir and Child Crisis Center in El Paso
