Marian, Inc. Provides Die-Cut OCA to Yazaki

Marian Uses Optically Clear Adhesive to Help Yazaki Introduce Impressive Automotive Instrument Cluster

This story posted with approval from Yazaki North America

By Phil Taylor, Marian VP

As he explains in his article published by Autonomous Vehicle Technology, Kevin Jost credits our valued customer, Yazaki North America, with bringing “an automotive first to market by using an optical coupling adhesive in a vehicle instrument cluster…”  He goes on to say, “The project was a collaborative effort among the customer, Yazaki, and its supply base.”  Marian is proud to be a part of Yazaki’s supply base in this industry-leading project.

With 3M’s OCA (Optically Clear Adhesive) systems and Marian’s clean room converting capabilities, we are able to supply component parts for Yazaki’s design “resulting in a high-end appearance” according to Jost.

Our engineering teams worked… to deliver an innovative instrument cluster that goes beyond luminance and image clarity requirements, resulting in a breakthrough display product.
