Marian Fort Worth Breaks Ground for New Building Addition
This is our 3rd article in 6 months announcing a new construction project at one of our companies! This is not a coincidence. Like stated previously, as a global company long-term growth is proof of our commitment to our existing and future customers. As they grow, we will continue to grow with them. Our facility located in Fort Worth, Texas recently broke ground on a building addition that will more than double their existing manufacturing space!
Employees with over 25 years of service did the honor of the official groundbreaking. From left to right, Brenda James, Jamica Franklin, Roy Puente, Vicki Lambeth, Cynthia Brown, Florence Hernandez, Alicia Ayers, Jason Lambeth.
In 1977, a 3M tape representative named Fred Antonini saw great opportunity in the tape converting business. Fred started the company in Fort Worth, TX and named it Cut Craft. Cut Craft was successful and thrived for many years. In late 2001, the company was acquired by Marian and proved to be a great fit for the Marian family of companies.
Under the Marian umbrella, Marian Fort Worth has continued to experience strong steady growth as an outstanding converter for the automotive, electronics, medical, and industrial markets. This steady growth has created a demand for more manufacturing space.
On September 8th, 2022, employees gathered with President Jack Lirette, to commemorate the groundbreaking of this new building expansion.
Jack emphasized the importance and the value of the employees and the team that is in place at Marian Fort Worth. He said, “Our employees are the reason we have made it to this point. We would not take on this building expansion if we did not trust the team that is going to take us into the future.”
The facility is working with Scott + Reid General Contractors on this project. When complete, the existing building will expand by an additional 24,255 SF. This will add to the existing ~20,000 SF to create a total building SF of approximately 44,000 SF. The new space will be used to drastically increase manufacturing capacity and capabilities as well as extra inventory storage.
We are excited to provide updates as this expansion project progresses. Stay tuned!
