Marian Fort Worth Philanthropy 2015

Marian Fort Worth employees have worked hard this year to make Marian successful. Not only are employees satisfying our customers and communicating with suppliers; they have played a huge part in providing philanthropic efforts for their community. Here’s how Marian Fort Worth Philanthropy 2015 is shaping out:

2015 Philanthropy

Since 2007, Marian Fort Worth employees have purchased school supplies for the students at Charles E. Nash Elementary, a school just a around the corner from Marian Fort Worth. Charles E. Nash Elementary is a National Blue Ribbon School known for their high-quality education. 82% of the student population is unfortunately considered to be economically disadvantaged. In addition to the school supplies, Marian Fort Worth employees donated frozen turkeys for Thanksgiving and participated in Career Day, the Fall Carnival, and Christmas.

Additionally, Marian reached out to Cook Children’s Hospital, one of the largest recognizable freestanding children’s healthcare systems in the southwest. Marian Fort Worth employees donated pajamas, toys, crafts, and books to patients at this hospital.

Furthermore, Marian Fort Worth employees make over 250 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the Presbyterian Night Shelter every summer.

Another organization that Marian Fort Worth is affiliated with is the Tarrant Area Food Bank. Tarrant Area Food Bank is a private nonprofit that serves individuals including those that are abuse victims, children, older, chronically ill, unemployed, working poor, and without homes. Marian Fort Worth collects non-perishable food every February/March for donation to this organization.

Lastly, Marian Fort Worth holds a blood drive every January and September.

Marian Fort Worth employees are wonderful people and represent Marian in such a delightful way. Way to go Marian Fort Worth!
