Marian Employees Spread Holiday Cheer
The holidays are a special time of year for Marian employees. We work hard year-round, so the holidays are a great time for us to reflect on the year and celebrate our successes with each other. See how some of our locations celebrated the holiday season this year and even helped spread some cheer to those in need in their local communities.
The Reason for the Season
Charles Nash Elementary School is a school located down the street from Marian Fort Worth. The school has many economically disadvantage families, so Marian participates in a number of events throughout the year to support the students at the school.
This holiday season, Marian Fort Worth donated gifts to two families in need for their Angel Tree, a new yearly tradition. As a thanks for everything Marian has done for the school throughout the year, Charles Nash Elementary offered to have their choir sing Christmas Carols to employees. As the children left, they thanked employees for supplying school supplies throughout the year and turkeys donated for Thanksgiving.
The Archdiocese of Indianapolis Catholic Charities Christmas Store serves more than 700 needy families for the Christmas season. Gifts and money help bring a brighter Christmas season for families in need. In many cases, the gifts provided by the Christmas Store are the only Christmas items families will receive. They also provide all gift wrap and batteries for toys to families.
Marian Indianapolis employees came together and were able to donate and deliver more than 130 new items to the Christmas Store this season along with a number of cash donations. Employees also donated their time at the Christmas Store to help families choose the items that would be the gifts for their families.
Marian’s Winter Wonderland
